Ahoy there, mateys! A new ship has sailed into North Adelaide and rumor has it that a certain sailor of the drunken kind is out in full force and handing out fresh catches from the seas of Australia!
The newest extension to The Curious Squire in North Adelaide is Drunken Sailor – a brand new food joint that is so much more than your average food and chips shop. Boasting of an American-style diner and decorated in pleasing nautical-themed décor that has a feature wall of the man himself, the grub available at Drunken Sailor is affordable, full of flavour, and oh so fresh!
Head chef Hien Nguyen takes pride in serving up some of the best of South Australian catches, such as Tasmanian salmon, Northern Territory barramundi, and the South Australian Flathead (to name a few), which can be cooked battered, fried, or even wood-oven baked!
Bringing a complementary fusion of Asian flavours, there are also options of lobster rolls, prawn pao buns, and Vietnamese salmon salad bowls. Most items on the menu range from $1 – $25, so there are a range of options of snacks and/or wholemeal choices, that offers a bit of everything for everyone!
Specializing in dine-in or takeaway options, the space can seat up to 20 guests and is fully licensed and stocked with delicious boozy options, such as Boats n Schmoes Session Ale and Seas The Day Sauvignon Blanc – which are exclusively available at Drunken Sailor.
