Thanks to Torrens Transit stepping in as the newest naming rights sponsor, Carols by Candlelight has been given a new lifeline and will deliver its 75th edition of the community’s oldest carols on December 7, 2019.
Having operated in Adelaide for nearly 20 years with a team of around 1200 employees, the Torrens Transit (under parent business Transit Systems) is a family-owned Australian business that has a colorful history of being involved with a number of local sponsorship/charitable initiatives in Adelaide, such as the Variety Kid’s Christmas Party and Dulcie’s Shop of Real Opportunity. They also lend support to the Little Heroes Foundation, West Beach Surf Life Saving Club, and the Hutt Street Centre.
We are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Torrens Transit Carols by Candlelight in Elder Park, bringing this event to the community for free so that families can continue the tradition.
Clint Feuerherdt (Transit Systems CEO)
The Torrens Transit Candles by Candlelight hopes to raise funds that will assist with community-based disability organization Novita, which is responsible for providing services of support, therapy, and rehabilitation to children and adults all around South Australia. With its widespread community reach that brings individuals and families from all walks of life together, it’s no surprise that the event will be bursting with love, warmth, and harmony.
AusLan interpreters will be present on-site.
Entry to the event is via donation.
The Torrens Transit Candles by Candlelight 75th anniversary celebrations will kick off in Elder Park on December 7, 2019 from 2pm onwards.
